The Spartans received a pledge from Kent State transfer wide receiver Chrishon McCray on Monday evening, then later that night picked up another from the portal in Texas State cornerback Joshua Eaton.

Michigan State picked up its second veteran wide receiver transfer in a little more than 24 hours. Kent State redshirt sophomore Chrishon McCray announced his commitment to the Spartans via social media on Monday evening. That followed one from Middle Tennessee’s Omari Kelly on Sunday.

Michigan State football continues to rebuild their team, and specifically their wide receiver room that saw a mass exodus after the season. On Monday, the Spartans received a commitment from former Kent State star wide receiver Chrishon McCray to join MSU via the transfer portal.

Kent State wide receiver transfer Chrishon McCray has received an offer from Michigan State and has announced that he will be visiting East Lansing this Friday. At Kent State, in two seasons, McCray caught 81 passes for 1,315 yards and 13 touchdowns. He is a native of Avon, Indiana.

Michigan State landed a second transfer of the day and it’s one very familiar to the staff. Luka Vincic, a redshirt sophomore offensive lineman from Oregon State, announced his commitment to the Spartans via social media on Sunday.
