The British Safety Council has awarded Apollo Tyres Ltd its Sword of Honour, demonstrating excellence in the management of health and safety risks at work. The company’s plant in Andhra Pradesh, India gained this distinction after achieving Five Stars in the British Safety Council health and safety management audit conducted in the qualification period between 1 August 2023 and 31 July 2024.

Nripendra Misra, chairman of the Construction Committee of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, released a statement in which he announced that the iconic temple has been honoured with ‘Sword of Honour’ ward by the British Safety Council.
