A three-part documentary series about New York native Gabby Petito’s disappearance and murder is coming to Netflix next month.

Titled A merican Murder: Gabby Petito, the three-part documentary will land on the streaming service on February 17 and explores the events leading up to Ms Petito’s murder — including interview with friends and family members.

Now, Petito's case will reenter the public lexicon. On January 27, Netflix announced the February release of a Gabby Petito documentary called American Murder: Gabby Petito. The three-part series will feature interviews with Petito's family and friends, text message key to the case, and excerpts from Petito's diaries.

In 2021, the disappearance of Gabby Petito and the subsequent investigation into her boyfriend swept the nation. More than three years later, her story is being revisited in an upcoming documentary on Netflix.
