Avelo Airlines Launches New Domestic and First-Ever International Routes
The ultra-low-cost carrier is adding flights from its new base in Hartford, Connecticut to destinations in North Carolina, Florida, Texas and the Caribbean, including Cancun and Montego Bay.

Avelo Airlines took flight from Bradley International Airport for the first time Thursday. The budget airline announced their expansion to Windsor Locks in July. Previously, Avelo only flew from its headquarters at Tweed New Haven Airport.

Avelo Airlines Opens Second Connecticut Base At Bradley Airport
BDL is located about 55 miles north of Tweed New Haven Airport (HVN), the southern Connecticut airport that serves as Avelo’s largest base. Avelo bases eight aircraft and 250 employees at HVN, from which it serves 27 destinations.

Avelo Airlines is now flying from Bradley International Airport. Avelo said it will begin offering nonstop routes to Charlotte/Concord and Wilmington, North Carolina on Thursday. On Friday, it will begin offering flights to Daytona Beach and Orlando/Lakeland in Florida.
