The statue is worth visiting but is difficult to get close to. The statue is about 400 metres from the small car park. It is quite imposing. Full review by kenbaines

A good stretch of the legs with a bit of a climb from our hotel, (Drybrough Abbey Hotel), but well worth it, an imposing statue, with the bonus of fantastic views of the Tweed and surrounding hills. Full review by Paul K
