Our knowledgeable and personable guide Dan gave us a wonderful underground tour. The museum is an amazing resource! We spent three hours there on a beautiful fall day. Full review by janebrownhoward

We had a great time at this museum. It isn't the biggest but is very interesting. We had a guide by the name of Ken, he was just unreal. He ensured that he interacted with everyone on the tour and … Full review by Rachael E

How baby-friendly is the one-hour underground mine tour? We're coming to Butte in May when our kid will be 8 months old and would love to see the mines! But would that be a bad idea with a baby? I assume that the mines aren't stroller friendly and so we'd have to carry him, right? Is the tour environment conducive to little kids or would that detract from the experience of the rest of the people on the tour? And lastly (worst case scenario), do you have to go through the whole tour once you start it, or could you leave early if your kid was being too distruptive? Thanks in advance

That makes the decision easy then! Thanks Jeanette! I didn't see that info anywhere on their website.
