The Small Lagoon is a little pocket of water in Miniloc Island not far from the Big Lagoon. It is sort of like a secluded cove accessible through a small …

We were lucky as there were not too many people there during our visit. A fabulous place to kayak in. The water is crystal clear and there are amazing rock formations.Full review by Adventurers049

I have no words to say about its beauty, but it is very crowded. For that reason alone, I recommend you think twice about coming. It was also quite difficult to reach. Come on, good luck.Full review by Yeanete C
Does anybody know if you can go to the lagoons (big and small) alone, as in, without a tour? I am there next week and stupidly did not think to book anything online, and Tour A seems to be pretty much sold out, but it would be a shame to be in El Nido and not do the lagoons!

You can book when you arrive... Or you can go on a private tour.
Where’s the nearest hotel to stay for the tour ride pick up?

Hmmm I’m not sure but there are a fair amount of decent bungalows and beach hotels near the strip. I stayed at “sommer” which is a really quaint and friendly place about 7 min drive to the strip. They had shuttle service for us, but we also rented scooters for cheap. This place was great because it was private and enclosed gate for all people staying, and everybody got their own cottage/bungalow. They have massage service in the common area for purchase and free breakfast. I quite enjoyed it ther and recommend if you’re looking for something relaxing and cabin camp out style.
I am traveling to El Nido for my honeymoon on May 1st. I want to book a day tour to the small lagoon, big lagoon and Cadloa lagoon. I see that your pick up is from El Nido town, but we’re staying at Cauayan Island resort. Do you have any pick ups from Cauayan Island resort ?

Congratulations and Best Wishes, Nadia S. Since you are already on an island not far from there, may I suggest that you get in touch with your hotel resort to make arrangements for you. They might even have a speed boat to help you reach the three lagoons for a day tour swiftly and safely. Worst case scenario, they would have to charter a smaller craft from the locals to take you to your destinations. Good Luck!

The weather in entire Philippines is very funny, you never know when the weather changes. I was also worried about the weather before traveling to the Philippines. I had been to the Philippines in December last year (2016) I visited Puerto Princesa, including El NIdo... I kept checking the weather updates until the last day of my departure .. I was also worried..cause the weather was indicating rain and thunderstorm every other day.. But when I got there.. there was no rain in my entire stay, I stayed for 4 days only one day it drizzled for 20 minutes... no thunderstorm or anything. I would suggest you " Not to Book any tour before you get to El Nido or anywhere in the Philippines" the tours may cost you even higher unlike you book from the spot or at tour agents. Don't worry about the weather until there is a typhoon warning... I hope you will enjoy your trip... And even if it rains anywhere... it would rain for a few minutes and then the sun comes out.

Q:
Is there any way for us to book a ticket online?
A:
This ticketing office itself has no online purchasing facility yet so you have to be at the port to be able to buy a ticket and board on the same day...
