Visiting Potsdam Sunday in mid-May, intending to buy tickets online for the Palace, to get the timed entrance we want. Also want to visit the New Palace, but it appears you have to be there to get a time to enter that day--no reservations in advance. Is that true, and if so, are the queues long for the New Palace?

About the queue we can't say if you'll find or not. It depends by the time of the day and if there're many groups. It's usually not that long this time of the year
