Depends how unsteady the person is. I'm 68 years old and have knee problems - knees buckle & lock at times - and am not the steadiest on my feet either. I was apprehensive about going there too. I took a walking stick along and used it as and when I felt the need & managed fine. It's a beautiful garden. Would be a pity to miss it.
