The Royal Theater is in the main part of the city. The building is very nice. I liked the crest on the top a lot. It has a reputation for putting on some great presentations. Full review by Flyingboy58

…. A famous book. Only five women actors pulled off a different version of the book in a great venue. We were in the stalls for a change and enjoyed the change. The theatre is great as are the staff.… Full review by mukhasben
I'm visiting Newcastle Theatre Royal tommorrow evening to see Les Misérables and I'm just wondering is it ok to take your own refreshments inside the theatre?

We were in them last night to see Les Mis and they are fine. They are under the balcony so the restriction is that you are unable to see the upper half of the stage due to the overhang of the balcony. Wasn’t a problem as we could see all the action fine.
I have booked here to see a comedian next October. On the site it wasn’t letting me see the seating plan. We’ve booked for front balcony row e seat 41 and 42 can anyone tell me what views will be like
A:
there don't appear to be any really bad seats. you might be off to the side of the stage
