How close can you get to the water without a reservation? We have 2 people in our group but I can only get one reservation. Can the other person come down to the water's edge without getting in the water so we can at least share the experience?

Hi there, We have always required reservations to swim at our park due to the overwhelming amount of people that wish to swim and the fragile nature of the karstic spring. Each reservation entitles ONE person to swim and each swimmer MUST have a reservation to enter the water. Others in the group without a reservation may accompany you to the water's edge but no further.

Good Afternoon, there is no charge to park or enter Jacob's Well Natural Area. We do charge for swimming, which is allowed from May-September. However, you are more than welcome to visit anytime to hike or view the Well during park hours. We are open daily 8am-6pm.
