We have been to Blanco State Park several times over the years. We always enjoy the park and the town. This time was a little disappointing. The trees in the camp sites are in need of trimming bad. … Full review by Dennis M

It’s a small, very nice park. We were there over Memorial Day weekend and it was very peaceful! Unless you fish or swim in the river there wasn’t much to do. Full review by VagabondCher

The park is clean, the camp sites are spread out and each one has a covered table. The ones inside the circle are full hookups and the ones on the outside are electric. The walking trails are nice an… Full review by BackPacker824890

The water level changes based on precipitation in the counties upstream. When we were there in June, there was little water flow. This was likely due to drought conditions in the area. …

The water level changes based on precipitation in the counties upstream. When we were there in June, there was little water flow. This was likely due to drought conditions in the area. There was, however, enough water in the river itself for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. When we were there in December, there was a healthy water flow. Unfortunately, it was too cold to kayak or swim. :)
