The Asheville Museum of Science (AMOS) is a growing local science museum with interactive, hands-on exhibits for science lovers of all ages! We are WNC’s home for experiential science learning and exploration. Young learners ages 3-12 will especially enjoy our exhibits and programs that strive to spark the imagination and foster lifelong curiosity. We proudly showcase the Colburn Hall of Minerals our gem and mineral collection, a local legacy loved by all, Our STEAM Lab and Makerspace, The teratophoneus dinosaur skeleton, Our main exhibit hall which includes our interactive astronomy virtual display, French Broad water table, landscape sand table, forestry tree climb, and more! Discovery awaits at the Asheville Museum of Science!

I don't recall reconstructed dinosaurs however there is a station for children to use crayons on paper to raise an outline of a dinosaur from a bas relief (?) etching. Kind of cool when …
